Provide shapes from construction paper for children to create a cat.

Discuss and explore the care of cats and how they behave. Use articles, the internet, and Patches (our cat) to learn all about felines.

Cats' collages

Make collages by cutting out pictures of cats out of magazines.

Cat hat

Make your own Cat-In-The-Hat hat or a cat ear headband. Cut a circle out of a black pice of paper about the size of a paper plate. Staring on the outside edge, cut one large spiral piece about 3 cms thick.

Cat in the Hat Fingerplay

One little cat on a sunny day
Put on his hat and went out to play

My name is Analia Capurro but everybody calls me Ana. I live in Argentina, a beautiful country in South America. I teach English as a foreign language for children aged 3 to 12. 

I also teach English and do blend education to sweetest person in the world, my niece Catalina. She is  3 years old and loves English! She is always singing Brown Bear or Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. She sits her little brother, opens the book and begins reading or singing. Then she teaches him the name of the animals and colors. By the way, her favorite color is blue. What do you get when you mix your favorite color with glitter? yeah! fun!

After 20 years of teaching children I found that the only way our children love learning is if we love learning and teaching, too. Promoting a learning environment where laugh, fun and friendship and companionship are as important as any language structure, are the things I had in mind while designed my resources. 

I am Christian and follow Jesus since I was a child. I teach about Jesus to the little ones in my church and also train people to become Sunday School teachers in my district. This pic is from my last Summer Camp for teachers at church. We had a fantastic time and of course, donuts and cappuchinos were the best way to "recharge" our batteries.

It is said that a teacher affects eternity because you can never tell where the influence stops. 

I feel so blessed to do what I love, teaching.
