The Wizard of Oz and the red ruby slippers

Have you read The Wizard of Oz? I have read it TONS of times and I LOVE it!

Last month we worked with colours and I found that R is for Red as well as R is for Rojo in Spanish so I introduced both the English and Spanish version of the word.

and these are some of the activities we did.


clip cards. I pasted a crayon wrapper to a clothespin to resemble the crayon in the cards



we made the word rojo in upper and lower case


and her favourite activity, YES, red glitter to paint letter R
